|Recommended: YesOverall — During the night cars come and go so light does enter the room even when the blinds are down, and I do hear the upstairs apartment water movements like flushing of the toilet, etc.
Thank you for the feedback. Being so close to main roads can be tough. Some of our residents have had luck with putting up curtains in addition to the blinds. We hope the rest of your experience here has been a good one!- The Hudson Management

- Maintenance Staff Super nice Though I can tell they are getting a bit stressed over worked with the craze of opening up. Maybe a few more people, and or higher pay, may help.
- Noise I can hear the highway through the window Highway walls are needed, but not much else can be done , Ceiling soundproofing is not as good as wall sound proofing.
- Construction quality Very well done, but there are fine details that are a bit mmmm that leave to be desired gaps, missing chalk, bumps, indentations, etc , also some furniture was assembled incorrectly that had to be manually repaired.

|Recommended: YesGreat place for a student rental — One of the best apartments for both students and normal tenants alike that I’ve ever rented. The rooms are clean, fully furnished, it’s a nice urban environment, the staff are super friendly and informative, the amenities are great. The internet access is amazing with the speed they offer. It’s also super convenient since it is right across the street from University at Albany.
The staff work out deals with those who want to rent early months before the semester starts, giving you the option to get some credit applied that can be used for any cost through the resident portal app. I.e toward rent, electric bills, internet.
The only suggestion I would make is to change is the size of the washing machines inside the units. The washing machines are a bit too small and unfortunately require multiple loads to get through a normal size basket of laundry.
Overall, with my suggestion aside, I have no other issues. It’s a very transparent, affordable, comfortable and friendly place to live at. I would recommend it highly

|Recommended: YesThe Hudson Student Living — As soon as you walk into Hudson, the staff greets you warmly and helps you find your way around. They're friendly and happy to answer any questions you might have. When you get your keys and head to your apartment, the hallway feels clean and tidy, with plenty of space to move around. And when you step into your apartment, it instantly feels like home – it's so nice, big, neat, and spacious. I'd love to live here for a long time

|Recommended: YesReview for now — Current state there are some things that need to be fixed up, but generally is ok. The main issue is the lack of parking and that the weed smell is already developing and barely anyone is here. If this is going to be such a common occurrence, consequences to the culprits must be enacted. Because this is ridiculous.

|Recommended: YesThe Hudson is the best in off-campus student housing. — The Hudson is an amazing place with studio, 2x2, and 4x4 apartment options. It offers a lot of amenities, including my personal favorites the pickleball court, gym, and lounge area. The Hudson's leasing staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and the maintenance team is also very responsive. Overall, I highly recommend this place for off-campus student housing.
